Capertee Valley Regent Honeyeater Tree Planting

Time to enrol for the Regent Honeyeater tree Planting Weekend.

3rd - 4th May 2014

This year's Capertee Valley Regent Honeyeater tree planting weekends are to be held on 3-4 May and 16-17 August. A flyer containing details of the May weekend will be forwarded to the volunteers.  In the interim, if you have any queries, or would like to register your interest, please contact Pixie Maloney   (southernnsw@birdlife.org.au).

In May, we will be planting on a prime site on the Capertee River, adjoining important riverine breeding habitat ( and one of our regular Regent Honeyeater survey sites). In addition, Dean Ingwersen and Mick Roderick from BirdLife Australia will be holding a workshop on woodland bird identification and survey methods at the Glen Alice hall on the Sunday morning . You will need to register separately for this. For further details and to register please contact Mick Roderick (mick.roderick@birdlife.org.au , 0421 761237) or Dean Ingwersen (dean.ingwersen@birdlife.org.au, 0409 348 553) . It promises to be a great weekend and we hope to see as many of you as possible.
