Just saying, but why is the Lithgow City Council STILL giving over $264,000 of their ratepayers hard earned cash over to the less than 150 members making up the liquor and gaming licensed Lithgow Golf Club Ltd. surrounding Marrangaroo Fields, when the same Lithgow Golf Club regularly spends thousands and thousands of dollars advertising in the Lithgow Mercury, Radio 90 2LT and on Prime and WIN Television?

And here is the Lithgow Golf Club's web homepage:  http://www.lithgowgolfclub.com.au/

The Lithgow City Council is also the Major Sponsor of the Lithgow Open Golf Championship each year!

And again just saying, but with the Council giving away such a large sum of money of over $264,000 of their ratepayers hard earned cash to a liquor licensed and gaming venue such as the Lithgow Golf Club Ltd. whose members incidentally pay up to $540 each year to play golf each day; why didn't the Lithgow City Council and our Mayor Maree Statham fully disclose this $264,000 to their ratepayers and residents in their Draft Operational Plan Summary which in currently on Public Exhibition and which was also published in the Lithgow Mercury?

With ICAC currently working harder than a politician's re-election account, local ratepayers and residents must all be wondering if their State Member and now the newly appointed Minister for Local Government, Mr Paul Toole, is also in favour of seeing over $264,000 each year and in the next financial year, of Lithgow City Council ratepayers hard earned cash still going towards propping up what would otherwise be an insolvent liquor licensed and gaming venue such as the Lithgow Golf Club Ltd.?
